Vastu Advice for the Wealth Corner of Your Home

Every home has a designated wealth corner, or Lakshmi corner. In Vastu Shastra there are ways to optimize that corner of your home to enhance prosperity, wealth, and stability. Your wealth corner can be made a zone of attraction for opportunity and wealth with a few simple reminders.

Locate the Wealth Corner

The wealth corner will be in the northern-east or eastern direction of your house or living room, but there are instances in which the south-east corner may work also. This corner encourages the flow of energy, positivity, abundance, and the ability to attract things. 

Keep the Corner Clean

A spot that is organized and free from clutter permits the energy flow. You should avoid placing broken objects here, any objects that aren't serving a purpose, or trash. Maintaining a neat and tidy space in this corner to enjoy, will also be invitations for prosperity and abundance into your home.

Include Some Symbols of Wealth

Adding personal symbols also helps strengthen good energy in this area.  Here are a few selections:

• Money plants - Inspire financial growth. 
• Small water fountains - Represent abundance and movement of wealth. 
• Lakshmi idols or pictures- signal and invoke the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi. 
• Crystals or coins - naturally invite wealth energy. 

Light and Good Energy 

Make sure this corner is bright as well as keeps light coming in. Purified sunlight works best but a lamp with a soft glow is fine too. Darkness can inhibit good energy, so keep it bright and vibrant at all times. 

Avoid Bad Energy 

Do not place a broken item, blocked corner, or clothes that are often damp. Heavy furniture should not belong this this corner either, as well as items that have some kind of trash around the space. Also avoid rooms like bathrooms and toilets, since working with energy can also become depleted in some way when into the building when they are not local energy.
